The Ministry of Transport and 17 ministries and commissions jointed issued a Notice to Further Encourage the Carrying Out of Intermodal Transport early this year. It aims to promote the cost reduction and efficiency improvement of the logistics industry and perfect the construction of modern integrated traffic and transport system. The document requires to timely address the existing problems and to try to realize the goal of increase the Intermodal transport freight volume by 1.5 times in 2020 from the 2015 level.
