Being attracted by graphene’s wide application and fantastic properties, more and more countries have made the development of graphene industry as a national strategy and China is no exception. To promote graphene industrialization, the Chinese government has launched a series of supportive policies.
Graphene development goals have been mentioned several times in many important government documents issued in 2015 such as the Notice about the Printing and Distribution of Main Points of Works Relating to Raw Material Industry Transformation and the “Made in China 2025” Roadmap.
During 2016 NPC and CPPCC, Premier Li Keqiang mentioned new material industry several times directly or indirectly in his government work report. Most NPC representatives and CPPCC members focused their proposals about graphene on aspects of the development of standard, fast and sound industry development and industrial application.
