2nd Global Bauxite Conference 2016
Time:2016-06-29 -06-30location:overseas 请选择
Two years ago, Indonesia banned bauxite export and encourages investment in alumina plants. But local alumina plants construction progress is quite slow in the past 2 years. Recently, there’s always a rumor that Indonesia will restart bauxite export. Will the policy really change? When? What’s going on in Indonesia these years?
In other countries, import volume from Malaysia to China dropped after Malaysia stopped bauxite mining. Due to weak market demand, import from Australia and India also decreased. On the other hand, bauxite export from Guinea and Turkey is climbing. Till now, Australia and Malaysia are still biggest China bauxite origins.
How will bauxite industry develop in 2016? Will global market pattern change? What opportunities and challenges are on the way? 2nd Global Bauxite Conference 2016 will gather leading bauxite and alumina market players to share ideas and find business opportunities.
