White oil downstream industry is involved in extensive areas. It is predicted by ICIS that in the next five years, Chinese white oil demand will grow by 2% -3%. Among them, growth of textile and chemical fiber industry will slow down, and dependence of adhesive industry on the real estate industry will be obviously strong. Meanwhile, the new plant operating rates gradually increased, and the white oil production will emerge upstream states.
In recent years, the domestic high-end white oil production capacity is limited, but the demand is strong. According to statistics, cosmetics grade, food grade, pharmaceutical grade white oil accounted for about 43% of aggregate demand. However, the domestic food and pharmaceutical grade white oil production technology is still not stable, and number of producers is limited. In the short term, it is still dependent on foreign products. With the upgrading of domestic technology in future, the dependence on imported white oil may decline.
