For crude oil and PVC market, buyers now wait and hesitate to buy?
PVC Demand reaches 40 Million MT in 2014 NEA accounts for 50% of the world capacity, China remains 80% for NEA, and 40% for Global total. While Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand lead the SEA market, though the total capacity is much smaller than NEA, but the growth is higher. For India market, local players are more aggressive than ever.
Also, PVC price falls a lot, mainly because of downtrend of oil price. For the market demand and oil price, PVC price drop a lot in Asia.
Where are the cost& margins for caustic Soda?
Caustic soda demand reaches 70 Million DMT in 2014 (approx. 40% is for PVC) ,and it has entered the stable increase expected after the high growth in 2010 and 2011 North East Asia covers almost a half of the global demand. China covers more than 80 % of the North East Asia and approx. 40 % of global.
