2014 (the 2nd) China International Glyphosate Summit

Time:2014-11-13 -11-14location:beijing beijingshi

Upon the issuance by the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Notice Concerning Publishing the List of (the First Batch of ) Glyphosate (PMIDA) Manufacturers in Conformity with Environmental Examination Requirements on July 3rd, 2014, the highly anticipated the environmental examination list for glyphosate manufacturers was finally published. Only four in ten of the filed manufacturers have passed the first batch of examination. The environmental policies for glyphosate manufacturing were significantly tightened. When will the 2nd batch list come out? Are there applicable policy supports given to those having passed the environmental examination?

Confined by environmental factors, the capacity growth of glyphosate production in recent years is quite limited. Also on the condition that a total of 27 countries planting transgenic crops begin to purchase it, how will the supply-and-demand curve go in the next few years? How to interpret the restraints of international trade barriers on Chinese suppliers for overseas expansion? What changes will take place in the polices related to pesticide import and export? How to evaluate the risks in the targeted export country?

Sponsored by China Chamber of Commerce of Metals, Minerals & Chemicals Importers & Exporters (CCCMC), host by CBI China and under the guidance of related government departments and the Nation’s Commerce Ministry, 2014 (the 2nd ) China International Glyphosate Summit will be held on November 14, 2014.
