The aluminum-use in transportation industry has become a new economic growth point. For greater economic benefits, requirements for vehicle weight are getting higher. Large freight volume, low cost, energy efficient and eco-friendly materials are preferred in China. With light weight, good antioxidant and corrosion resistance, the application of aluminum alloy in transportation has been more widely used.
Land transportation – automobiles: electrification, light weighting and intelligence have been regarded as future development trends of the automobile industry. In recent years, more and more vehicles and auto parts companies began to focus on the study of lightweight technology.
Land transportation – railway: the threshold of population for urban railway construction has been lowered from 3 million to 1.5 million. It will create considerable market space for China aluminum industry. Statistics indicate that during China’s 13th Five-Year Plan period (2016-2020), domestic passenger rail systems’ aluminum demand will reach 253,000 tons and coal conveyors’ aluminum demand will be 85,000 tons.
Ships: aluminum plate for ships is gaining popularity among shipyards thanks to its lightweight and excellent properties like corrosion resistance. With the strategic development of marine economy, the global manufacturing of ocean going vessels and inland ships has got stable growth.
Aircrafts: To produce the large commercial aircrafts, to achieve the aircraft aluminum materials self-supply is a strategic choice to implement the “Made in China 2025” tactic and build China’s new advantages in high-end manufacturing. To this end, we will focus on key aspects of the R&D, production and application of aircraft-grade aluminum and promote its totally self-supply and build the self-innovation material system and equipment technology system.

center, American bending machine and Japanese CNC lathe, etc.). Design, welding
and machining according to the vehicle body, which reaches international advanced level.
